Covenant Prayer

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son! And I am Glad!
Kids don’t have to turn out like their parents! And I am Glad!
Our past has no hold on our future! And I am Glad!
God’s mercies are new every single morning! And I am Glad!
The evil one will not get the last say! And I am Glad!
The enemy will fall into the trap he has set for us! And I am Glad!
For those who love God, and are called according to His purpose, every single thing has to work together for our good! And I am Glad!
We have not out-sinned Christ’s ability to forgive us! And I am Glad!
Christ will return and claim His Kingdom! And I am Glad!
There will be no more crying, no more pain, no more suffering, no more strain! And I am Glad!

Reflection:  4 decades ago I accepted Christ as my Savior.  He forgives all my iniquities, is constantly changing me and has redeemed my life from destruction.   I cringe to think where I might be today had it not been for His amazing grace!  He crowns me with loving kindness and tender mercies….notice those adjectives…. not just kindness and mercy….loving kindness and tender mercies (KJV)!  He satisfies my life with good things so that my youth is indeed renewed like eagle!

I worship God for who He is!  And I thank Him for all He has done!

I love Matt Redman’s song, 10,000 Reasons!  It’s a hopeful song about praising God and rejoicing in His wonders.  We will praise His name for 10,000 Reasons and Forevermore!
